济南市儿童艺术剧院始建于1984年，原为济南市儿童艺术剧团。1998年正式定名为济南市儿童艺术剧院。

　　自创立至今，剧院始终不渝地坚持"出人出戏"的基本原则，不断地推新人、出精品。先后创作演出了《我家来了机器人》、《少年大舜》、《小白龟》、《宝贝儿》、《大鼻子叔叔的奇遇》、《青蝴蝶》、《七色花》等几十台儿童剧目，深受孩子、老师和家长们的欢迎。共获得包括"文华新剧目奖""中国人口文化奖""五个一工程奖""文华大奖""第四届中国十大演出盛世金奖""国家舞台艺术精品工程十大精品剧目"等国家级奖项20多个和60多个省级以上的专业奖项。

　　二十年来，济南市儿童艺术剧院的演出足迹遍及全国200多个市、县、区，累计演出7000余场，观众逾千万，并远赴新加坡、韩国、港澳地区演出交流，取得了良好的社会效益和经济效益，被誉为"舞台上的辛勤园丁"、"少年儿童的良师益友"，并先后荣获国家人事部、文化部授予的"全国文化工作先进集体"、中华全国总工会授予的"全国五一劳动奖状"等荣誉称号。

Brief introduction of Jinan Children's Art Theater

Jinan Children's Art Theater was founded in 1984. Its original name was Jinan Children's Art Theatrical Troupe. In 1998 it was named officially as Jinan Children's Art Theater.

Ever since its origination, the theater unswervingly stuck to the basic principle of "recommending new actors as well as new plays", introducing new actors and new plays to the public incessantly. It created and performed in succession dozens of children's plays such as "There Comes a Robot in My Home", "Young Man Da Shun", "Little White Turtle", "Little Baby", "The Adventure of Big-nosed Uncle", "The Light Green Butterfly" and "Rainbow Colored Flower". These plays are all popular among children, teachers and parents and they win more than 20 state-level prizes and more than 60 over-provincial-level professional prizes, which include "Wen Hua Prize for Original Play", "Prize for Chinese Human Culture", "Prize for Five Best Ones Project", "Wen Hua Prize", "The Golden Prize for Top Ten Performances of the 4th Chinese Performance Era" and "Top Ten Plays of National Classic Stage Arts Project".

Over the past twenty years, Jinan Children's Art Theater has performed in more than 200 cities, counties and districts of China and has given more than 7,000 performances altogether. It entertains over ten million spectators and has given performances in Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and Macao. It achieves great social as well as economic benefits and therefore was extolled as "the arduous gardener on the stage" and "the good teacher and helpful friend of children". The theater wins many honorary titles such as "National Advanced Organization of Cultural Work" awarded by the Ministry of Personnel and Ministry of Culture and "National Wu Yi Labor Prize" awarded by All China Federation of Trade Unions.
